The business was founded in 1988 by Simon Hull and grew from a need in Auckland for temporary and casual on-hire labour. The first branch was set up in Penrose and to this day, is still our flagship branch. Head Office is also at the Penrose location and the company is now the largest supplier of casual and temporary labour-hire in New Zealand with 27 branches from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
In 2005 Allied Work Force became a public company and listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange, where it continues to enjoy its market leadership position. The company follows standard corporate governance procedures with an operations focus driven by Chief Executive Officer, Mike Huddleston and his senior management team.
Allied Work Force now has a permanent staff of over 100 full time employees in various branch locations throughout the country. With an active customer base of over 7,000 businesses and a crew pool of approximately 8,000 we stand by our promise to deliver The Right Person at the Right Place at the Right Time!
